Born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Ralf moved to the United States when he was just five years old. He attended Florida International University where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a double major in international business and marketing, in 2002.
Ralf is an enrolled agent (EA), which is defined as a federally-authorized tax practitioner who has technical expertise in the field of taxation and who is empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service for audits, collections, and appeals. As an EA, Ralf advises, represents, and prepares tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, trusts, and any entities with tax-reporting requirements as well as effectively represents taxpayers audited by the IRS.
Prior to opening Apollo Payroll, Ralf worked as a controller for Continental Equities, Inc. and Peters Maxey Short and Maxey, P.A. where he prepared corporate and individual taxes, managed the financial accounting department, performed monthly bank reconciliations for more than 50 bank accounts, and assisted in cash management activities and investment strategies.
Today, Ralf runs Apollo Payroll, EA, PA, which he opened in March 2005. He works with clients from a variety of industries including medical, dental, chiropractic, legal, retail, marketing, real estate, mortgage, and technology. The company strives to treat each client as an individual rather than as a number. Employed by highly trained staff, Apollo Payroll, is also equipped with extremely high-tech software, which helps the company satisfy a multitude of client needs. In addition, Ralf also strives to educate his clients to help them understand complicated tax and accounting issues.
